Moving to Wordpress.com is bringing more traffic

A couple of days ago, I moved PsionMark to Wordpress.com from a self-hosted account with Media Temple. See this post for my reasons for doing so.
One thing I didn't expect was an increase in traffic. I would normally only get between 10-20 visitors per day for this blog. Yesterday, I received 36 and today I've had more than 50. Hardly Google, I know, but nice nonetheless.
It may be temporary, but I figure Wordpress.com hosted posts get pushed into the Search ether pretty quickly.
